More details emerge at GDC Europe
Gamespot has a piece on George Bain’s PSP presentation at this years Game Developers Conference Europe. Highlights include mention of an “OpenGL style API, more details on 802.11b LAN connectivity, the unveiling of a PSP hardware development platform, news that UMDs won’t be writable by anyone except Sony and the possibility of MP3 support. The old chestnut of battery life surfaced again with Bain refusing to divulge a figure. Personally, I think this is the right way to go.
