More info on the QR-CODE ads
Paul was kind enough to write in with some more details on those QR-Code ads that have started to appear in Japanese magazines. He said “I live in Japan and have one of those phones that can decode the QR-codes. The code when decrypted links to http://www.playstation.jp/psp/ but the site can only be viewed on a mobile phone. The site is a small info site where I could see 3 items. One was explaining the origin of the name PSP, the other one was giving more details on the screen that the console will be using (272×320) and thirdly, there is an “Enquete” as they say, basically a questionnaire that is answered gets your name entered in a draw that gives you a chance to win one of a 100 PSP.Also they claim you will be able to see the PSP at the forthcoming festival called ENTAMA from October 22-22: the 2004 Tokyo International Entertainment Market” - lots of great stuff on his site - Read
