Access Your Media in Your PC from PSP Wirelessly

The Locura Personal Media Server is a stand-alone web server that runs on your computer giving you access to all your media, including downloading some videos, listening to your music, or showing off some recent photos.

The Locura Personal Media Server lets you access all your PSP media wireless from in your home or anywhere you have an internet connection, it is specifically tailored to the PSP browser. It requires no other software, other than the Microsoft .NET Framework included with the install. Since it is a web server with special PSP-specific extensions, it can work with any web browser including the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers.

And the Locura Personal Media Server is built to be customized! You can switch between any of the 3 included themes or make your own! A simple understanding of stylesheets and photo editing is all that is required. Or, if you wish to completely change the layout all together and have some knowledge of HTML and Visual Basic.Net you can create your own templates. It’s all customizable!

Also because the Locura Personal Media Server is a web server with limited built-in Visual Basic.Net scripting support, you can use it for more than just accessing your PSP media. You can create link pages to your favorite sites and making your own custom portal, or you can put together a small web site to share photos over the web with family and friends.

Whether its access to download your videos, creating RSS feeds to listen to your music, displaying your dynamically-resized photos to friends, or customizing your own portal the Locura Personal Media Server can do it all and more.

The Locura Personal Media Server will be available later this month and will come in three flavors: For those on a budget, the free version will give you access to all the functionality of the Media server except for video downloading and audio streaming. For most users, the single-user version will give you full access for one concurrent user and will retail for $30. For those that need more connections, the family version will also give you full access but it will allow a total of 5 connections. It will retail for $50. A special introductory discount of $10 will be taken off both the single-user and family version through April 30th, 2006.
