Longer PSP Battery Length Was All Lies

After announcing the brand new slimline PSP at E3 one of the big bullet points was that the new PSP would allow for even more gaming on the move than the older unit. However, it has now come to light that this information was more of a small white lie by the company, rather than being actual fact.

PSP Turns into Portable Television

As part of a flurry of announcements from today’s PlayStation Premiere event in Tokyo, Sony Japan announced a 1Seg Tuner device for the PSP. Attach this to the PSP USB port in much the same way that you attach the GPS receiver and camera to the system now, and you’ll turn the system into a portable TV.

Sony Shows Off New Lighter PSP

Sony is taking a cue from Nintendo by releasing a slimmer, more efficient PSP. According to Sony the new PSP will be 33% lighter and 19% slimmer, and will come in a new optional silver finish.
