Capcom Brings Resident Evil To PSP
This italian website found a news (or rumor?) from an italian magazine PSMania which reveals Resident Evil game for PSP.
Okay okay… we also don’t understand what he says so we need Google:
Referring to the latest issue of PSMania … and last say in what is REALLY the last I remembered an item that spoke of a possibility of a Resident Evil on our PSP … I was reminded why few days between the Capcom has declared itself to make an announcement explosive … this is really the bomb that Capcom is pornta to unhook? ? We shall see!

Resident evil would be amazing on the psp, but it’s probably never going to happen. Capcom probably doesn’t want to lose money, and psp game pirating is extremely common due to custom firmwares and the fact that people who have big memory cards don’t want to spend money when they don’t have to. I didn’t check because I’m tired, but I’m pretty sure that was a run-on sentence.

But custom firmwares are making sony lots of money. With CFW the psps are worth alot more. Most people buy it so they can play retro games like sonic portable. CWF does rip games companies off but here in england only 20% at the most, knows about CWF.

It can be possible. If they decided to do RE4 for ps2 knowing the huge piracy of ps2, then why not for psp. The best idea for making a psp game is to size 1.8 gb of iso (in which passing to cso isn’t very succesful) and WiFi compatible content (with DNAS service, like ps2, to prevent piracy to connect internet service).

Well, Resident Evil For PSP would Be great, I mean Campcom has spend lots of money doing this Retro Games Arcade Collections, even if people Pirated them with CFW. So why not give it a try, I will play it very “fairly”.
I think there’s more people around the world that:
doesn’t know CFW exist
They do, but they don’t know how to make a PSP CFW
They are too afraid of Bricking his PSP’s
Some don’t care about it
Not all people have a PSP
etc…

i cud see this happening. i think if it was re4 style it would work. r cud be to get in the shooting mode the analog stick can be to aim x to shoot. this could be possible. i hope it happens

Damn!! man i wish they develop a resident evil game on the psp similiar to resident 4 on the ps2!! Tht will definitely b a hit, although i hope it is a sequel and bring some new stuff into the system! Most of the games on the psp end up as being prequels then sequels! PSP NEEDS A RESIDENT EVIL GAME BADLY! SONY SHW EVERYONE WHT U MADE OFF, FINAL FANTASY WAS A GOOD IDEA 2!! Hope they wont make it short too.

Resi evil on the PSP shud of happened years ago tbh. theres no point in them debating on piracy issues when its obvious that the game make millions despite piracy. A resi evil degen game wud b cool but maybe some others have said they shud revamp an already popular installment to the series like they did on the gamecube. a revamp of resi evil 2 wud be awesome i wud say resi evil 3 but that one was too short for my liking
