Rumble on PSP, Sony Needs Immersion

In this interview with Immersion (The king of rumble company) CEO Vic Viegas, he said it’s not difficult to make PSP rumbling.

Movies on Memory Sticks for PSP

Sony is introducing two Memory Stick entertainment packs for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) system later this month. Each movie is optimised for playback on the Sony PlayStation 3 console at 720 x 480 resolution as well as for the PSP. Titles available include Click, Ghost Rider, RV and Stomp the Yard.

Weekly Sales 400% Increase in UK

Sony has hailed the launch of PSP Slim & Lite as a success, a Sony spokesperson told MCV. “The first week sales have come in at 17,000, so around a four-fold increase on the previous week.”

PSP Sales Rocket in Japan

Sales of the PlayStation Portable have increased by over six times on the previous week’s figure, 95,487 units in the week ending September 16, up from 15,564 the week before. One of the reasons for the PSP’s sudden jump in popularity could be the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on that format - the title sold 487,000 copies in its debut week.

PSP-2000 Bundled with Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

At long last, a UMDless PSP
