Sony PSP Has VoIP Functionality
Owners of Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld console will soon be able to make voice and video calls over a wireless internet connection.
Using a soon-to be-released camera and microphone, gamers will be able to call other PSP owners and some BT phones.

Free T-Mobile WiFi with Latest PSP Firmware Update
Sony’s looking to make their latest PSP firmware upgrade, version 3.30, too appetizing for all the homebrew users out there to pass up. In addition to officially sanctioned (albeit tempermental) full resolution video support, Sony has upped the ante by offering 3.30 users 6-months of complimentary access to T-Mobile WiFi HotSpots.

2006 Survey, 36% Want PSP
1UP.com, Ziff Davis Media Game Group’s online destination for gaming enthusiasts, today announced the results of its 2006 user study. Gamers on 1UP.com are also interested in both major handhelds: 36% plan to buy a Sony PSP, while 28% plan on buying a Nintendo DS.
