Leading video games publisher and developer Namco Bandai, has just announced that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes, a game based on the hugely popular Anime TV series, Shonen Jump Naruto will now make its way to the Sony PlayStation Portable.

Hands On Mobile, Inc. announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Activision to produce a Guitar Hero mobile game for handhelds. While we aren’t sure if that means cell phones, PlayStation Portables, Nintendo DSs, Game Boy Advances, HP calculators or all of the above.

Sony’s looking to make their latest PSP firmware upgrade, version 3.30, too appetizing for all the homebrew users out there to pass up. In addition to officially sanctioned (albeit tempermental) full resolution video support, Sony has upped the ante by offering 3.30 users 6-months of complimentary access to T-Mobile WiFi HotSpots.

How many times we rumor this?
Somehow Sony managed to stave off those rumors until recently. SCE U.K. Managing Director Ray Maguire spilled the beans that the PSP will soon receive a hardware refresh, much to the delight of millions of PSP owners around the world.

1987 was the year, Microprose were the publishers and Sid Meier was the person behind it all. For those that remember the original Pirates with the fondness that I do there may be some trepidation about this remake, since remakes in any medium are rarely upto the standard of the original.

1UP.com, Ziff Davis Media Game Group’s online destination for gaming enthusiasts, today announced the results of its 2006 user study. Gamers on 1UP.com are also interested in both major handhelds: 36% plan to buy a Sony PSP, while 28% plan on buying a Nintendo DS.
